If you’ve ever browsed our collections and noticed that some have more toys than others, you’re not imagining it — and it’s not a mistake. Every Tail® was built on the idea that quality beats quantity, especially when it comes to enrichment. So when a collection feels a little lighter, it’s not because we’ve forgotten it. It’s because we’re curating it with intention.
Some play personalities are easier to source for than others. Plush-loving Sophisticats, for example, tend to have a wide range of enrichment options available — from cushions and comfort to toys that challenge their mind and soft interactive play. Adventurers, on the other hand, often need products that challenge their bodies, instincts, and curiosity all at once. And those aren’t as easy to find.
We believe every pet deserves toys that truly match the way they play — not just whatever happens to be on the market. So we don’t list toys just to fill the space. If a collection doesn’t yet have a wide selection, it’s because we’re still looking for the right fit.
We ask questions like:
• Will this spark movement, curiosity, or confidence?
• Is it safe, tested, and actually enjoyable for this play personality?
• Would we give it to our own animals?
And just as importantly, who made it?
We vet all our suppliers carefully, because great toys should come from great people. If a toy looks promising but the manufacturer has a poor track record for quality, transparency, or animal welfare, we won’t stock it. Simple as that.
We’re always searching. Behind the scenes, we spend a lot of time researching and reaching out — carefully reviewing every toy and every supplier before anything makes it into the shop. We don’t rely on trends or endorsements. If it doesn’t meet our standards for safety, enrichment, and integrity, it doesn’t get listed.
So if a collection feels smaller today, know that something better is coming tomorrow. We’ll never add filler. Only the good stuff.
Every toy, every collection — chosen with care, for every tail.
