At Every Tail, we search the world to find toys that match your pet’s unique Play Personality.
Some of our most innovative and design-forward pieces — especially in our Cat and Small Dog collections come from specialist manufacturers in parts of East Asia.
If you’ve ever noticed that our cat toys feel a little more inventive, a little more engineered, or a little more space-smart… this is part of the reason.
And right now, many of those regions are celebrating Lunar New Year.
What’s Happening?
Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations across parts of East Asia. It’s a time centred around family, renewal, and the start of a new annual cycle.
During this period:
• Logistics networks operate at reduced capacity
• Warehousing and freight move more slowly
• International shipping timelines temporarily extend
This is a seasonal shift that happens each year — and operations gradually return to full speed shortly afterwards.
Why East Asia Leads in Cat & Small Dog Innovation
East Asia has become a global hub for pet product innovation — particularly in the cat world.
Many of the ideas shaping modern feline enrichment originate there, including:
• Vertical climbing systems designed for indoor cats
• Motion-activated and sensory-driven toys
• Compact enrichment solutions for apartment living
• Multi-functional scratchers and modular structures
• Designs that blend seamlessly into contemporary homes
The same precision and attention to scale is what makes the region such a strong leader in XS and Small dog toy development — where size, balance, durability, and safety all matter.
Some of our most imaginative cat toys — and our entire XS & Small dog range — are part of that ecosystem of creativity and technical design.
When we call them Global Gems, we mean it.
What This Means for You
If you’re shopping our global range during Lunar New Year season, here’s what to expect:
• Products may have slightly extended delivery timelines
• International shipping networks may move more slowly than usual
• Tracking updates can take a little longer to refresh
Our Global Gems — including our cat collection and all XS & Small dog toys — remain in stock. Delivery may simply take a little longer while regional logistics return to full capacity.
Thoughtfully Designed. Globally Connected.
The pet industry often rewards speed.
We prioritise innovation, collaboration, and long-term partnerships.
Our East Asian partners play a significant role in shaping our cat collection and small dog range — bringing technical detail, space-smart design, and creative enrichment concepts that genuinely elevate modern pet living.
Seasonal celebrations like Lunar New Year are part of that global ecosystem.
And sometimes, that means allowing a little extra time for delivery.
For those looking for enrichment a little closer to home, our UK-based range is fully stocked and ready to go.
Thank you for being part of a community that values thoughtful design and global collaboration.
Here’s to another year of creativity, play, and enrichment for all 🧧✨
